Mate, best will in the world, some will revel in today, no it wont effect next saturday but this week online will be a car crash

 

If you're going to give away 3 points may as well be to a team going down anyway I suppose

 

It's fine for people to say we've played ****e and that today is disappointing without being down on the club as a whole.

Loads of people were saying double up on Burnley defenders in FPL, I can see why now.

 

That's how you're interpreting it. You don't like any criticism of the team which is your prerogative. But we've rolled over against the team we think are the worst in the league. It's a reality check for sure and people are allowed to be critical of the performance.

 

Absolutely. It's exactly what's happened. We have been comfortably beat against Burnely with zero shots on target for 90 mins.

We have been poor. Very poor IMO. We need to get back to the intensity, like last week. Most of this has been due to graft IMO. We are not pressing or working as hard. Individuals playing poorly and too slow.

I thought today might give us a boot up the arse hence the happy with a point.

Yep. That's exactly it. If people can not handle any words of reality of a performance then that's on them

 

We were the better side first half. Weird second half. Totally went off the boil, didn’t get going after the goal and that strange light situation. Looked abit like a team who don’t know each other today, which is to be expected really

 

Funny how last week with how well we played the match thread was quiet.

I suspect tonight will be busier

 

It's clear we're better suited to games where we can play in transition, it was the same last season. We struggle a bit when we're forced to break teams down like today. We'll probably fair better against the top end sides with the squad as it is now.

To change that I would like to see a more creative player come in, whether that's a 10 or a wide player. Someone to play the final pass for the abundance of runners we have.

Think we've done well this summer and i'm not reading too much into today, think I would've taken 3 points from the first 2. Just disappointed in how we've played today. But that's PL football for you, slightly below par and you get punished.

Onto the next. We'll be fine.
