If it about FFP, then it’s down to the uncertainty the EFL are causing because we don’t know what’s happening with Peurta? I think there’s a player in there who improved over last season and by all accounts, has looked even better this ( missed the first game due to Sunday kick off). l don’t necessarily agree with the lazy tag, he just has that languid style. I’m sure if there is any laziness in his game, it won’t be there for long playing under McBurnie and co. I’d hang on until the January window and reassess which of the wingers to sell once Belloumi and Miller are up and running.

If Kamara had a boring English name like John Smith everyone would be raving about how good he is and potential future England caps.

I think it's clear that if it wasnt for the financial issues we wouldn't be selling Kamara. However it appears we need to raise some cash and out of Pandur, Hughes and Kamara, it makes sense for Kamara to go, especially as we have 2 wingers about ready to return. I don't like Kamara's languid style but acknowledge he will carry on improving and one day could go for alot of money. Will Akintola be as good? Very unlikely, but as I say it's about necessity of selling and we make sure we get a favourable sell-on percentage.

Bickering about how to compare 2 players who don't play the same way is pretty stupid when you cherry pick one stat.

    Kamara v Gelhardt - 2024/25
    MIns played: 2256 v 1593
    Goals: 5 v 5
    Pens: 0 v 2
    Assists: 3 v 0
    Shots: 36 v 44
    On Target: 14 v 9
    Successful Crosses: 8 v 2
    Attempted Crosses: 55 v 57
    Tackles Won: 36 v 21
    Interceptions: 16 v 3
    Attempted take-ons: 51 v 88
    Successful take-ons: 20 v 41
    Yellows: 1 v 4

Gelhardt is more of a bull in a china shop sort of player. He's direct, he'll get stuck in, he causes more chaos and impacts games. Although Kamara is ahead in many stats, it's worth remembering that he only had 71% of Kamara's minutes.

Kamara is more languid and less direct, but seems more composed when he has the ball. His crossing and shooting accuracy is better than Gelhardt, and he seems marginally more useful defensively, but he's seemingly less likely to get in a position where he can cause a threat, An example is him often laying the ball back to Coyle for a cross rather than doing it himself. Was it by design, or a confidence thing?

Loved that when I saw it, though if it was at their place we’d be saying something different I’d expect lol

Well done. You manage to insert an apostrophe in half of the words that require one.
Your caps lock and full stop key still not functioning though.

Serg spoke incredibly highly of Belloumi in the interview. Suggests he’s showing a good level in training already.

“we have no one like him”

If he comes back firing, Kamara won’t be staring games. Akintola would likely be much happier as depth too. If we can get what we paid for with a sell on, I’d wish him well.

It was Steve Jordan today. Last week it was the club's social media guy doing a stint.
