Pretty much what I feared based on the first 3 games. As soon as we came up against a competent attacking team we will be put to bed. I’m so ****ing fed up of watching teams slice through us in 3 passes while we **** around with 50 passes with the pentetration of a softcore porn film. We aren’t relying on good football we are relying on overloading the box and crosses and that’s a whopping red flag.
Still has said that we don't have the wingers/attacking midfielders to play his preferred formation yet, which I imagine won't change until after the window is shut.
But we don’t have the players to play 5 at the back as we give all the initiative away. I am at the point where I would rather some square pegs in round holes in a better system.
Not confident about our purchasing forwards. Downs, Stewart, Archer are our recent buys. Very lightweight.
