The Coventry draw away is impressive, to be fair. Currently 5-0 up against QPR at half-time. Hopefully, today was just a blip due to injuries, lack of depth and illness.
The problem with this is with Ajayi and Famewo the signs were there last season.. Neither were regulars and we've sold two who were - we should have kept one of Jones or Macca. We've possibly overspent on wages up front as we couldn't pay a fee and now we are having to ship players out to bulk up the areas that also need some attention. It all remains to be seen at the end of the window how we turn out, but the mismanagement at the club over the last two years caused today. Its yet again an unbalanced squad. Illness clearly paid a part and we shouldn't jump to conclusions obviously - but today is a really good lesson that there's still a lot to do to get us competitive over the course of 46 games, week in week out. Fingers crossed we have a decent season of luck with injuries, as fans we do deserve one after last year.
F Fair enough. Were you there or watching on tv? Not a dig either way but I genuinely have no idea what he’s good at, he’s drives forward then loses it. Not a bad player to bring on for the last 15 but shouldn’t ever start for us with a fully fit squad.
Marv sorry to tell you but he's a bottler.... when the highlights come up see who's not there doing his job and im not talking about just the goals...
Maybe haven’t read it properly, my point is, we’re not dead and buried on game 3. Look at Coventry, we managed to avoid that.
Coventry have scored six goals with an xG of 0.96. Are they all screamers from 30 yards out or something? The ****’s going on?
Genuine question cos I was there and haven’t seen any highlights, but where was Drameh for their second goal?
'Our best away performance' - reaction Hull boss Sergej Jakirovic told BBC Radio Humberside: "A very disappointing day for us. After 20 minutes we had some chances to score and then we made one mistake in our defence which they punished with a goal. "At half-time we tried to change things and they then punished us with two quick goals. In the end I must congratulate Blackburn on a deserved win. "We had a lot of problems before this game. We missed some players and had a virus in our dressing room, so this is maybe a key question of energy and intensity. "We must analyse this game, keep going and keep working." please log in to view this image 07:39 Media caption, Sergej Jakirovic: 'They punished us' Blackburn head coach Valerien Ismael told BBC Radio Lancashire: "When you win your first game it's really good because you start your Championship season. "When we lost games we stayed calm and focused. We deal with adversity and now we're moving forward and the win will help us to start the season. "In the second half we scored two goals straightaway and that gave us the confidence to control the game. Since I've been in charge at the club, that was the best away performance. "Now before the international break we have a difficult home game against Norwich and we need the same performance and same focus." please log in to view this image 07:04 Media caption, Valerien Ismael: 'Congratulations to the boys' Player
For the free kick? I actually think they way we set up that it was Gelhardt who should've been marking him.
