Pretty sure Wellington only plays because he is quick and we really lack pace. I can't see any other reason why he would start over Manning.

Yeah Stoke well on top. Robinson and Armstrong not keeping the ball at all up top so we are on the back foot a lot.

 

I'm not sure what our tactics are but it's not really working

 

That was painfully obvious from looking at the team sheet

 

Yeah, it is very odd. Still talks a lot about direct play and getting the ball forward ASAP, which we look to be doing. Unfortunately having those two up front against any centre back means it’s never going to stick.

Only way they can be effective is if we move up slower and someone can play a through ball for them to run on to, but that’s not what we are trying to do at all.

We can't deal with their press and when we do get the ball to a forward they are too weak to hold it up.

 

We'll come back into it keep the faith.

 

I think Stoke need to score. They will be shattered last 20 if they keep going like this. But we are making this way too easy at the moment.
