If Coventry and Oxford were the two steps forward then this was definitely the one step back. Select your top three, in order.
Ndala Lundstrom McBurnie Almost 3 by default. Defence were poor, Slater is just a downgrade. Gelhardt and Palmer way off last week's standards
Lundstram - only midfielder that looked like he cared tbh, and seeing him berating them midway through second half at least shows his leadership qualities. Drameh - not great but better then rest Errrrrmmmm struggling for a third
1. Drameh - Best of a bad bunch. 2. Ndala - Second best of a bad bunch. 3. McB - Third best of a bad bunch. Special mention goes to the great players who were injured/sick & became world beaters by not playing. Overall, completely outplayed after that purple patch in the first half, it happens.
Lundstram (by a country mile) McBurnie Ndala (although faded badly 2nd half). McCarthy grew into it, but let's be honest, nowhere near ready yet. Jak had a stinker imo
Lundstrum Ndala McBurnie Well done McCarthy… a big step up and still raw but there’s a player there. Last week, I praised Giles and thought he’d got real, and perhaps grown up and smelled the coffee. This week he backs out of a 60:40 ball like a feckin’ big girls blouse. NO professional footballer especially a full back should be doing that. I can take a defeat, but I cannot take watching that.
