Great atmosphere last game to nothing this game

 

This isn't all bad, miles off last week but we've created chances, need to stop trying to force it and calm down a bit. There are goals in this for us.

 

Horrible, scrappy half, City really sloppy all over the pitch. It's like the City of old, no confidence, no leadership. Shows our lack of squad depth perfectly.

Shows what 2 quality players can do in terms of making a team tick.

Keeping crooks and hughes fit (and city players) will be key.

 

Someone messaged that see it say it sort it number and get em on to this ref.....he must be on some kind of bonus scheme where he gets a quid every time he blows his whistle.....equally frustrating for both teams I reckon

It will kill his confidence but there’s a strong argument to hook McCarthy at HT. Doesn’t look comfortable at all.

 

We look really lethargic, Blackburn are that half a yard quicker, whether this bug is having an effect I guess we will find out. but need to improve 2nd half.

 

This ref is ****ing useless. Let the game get away from him.

 

A lot of niggly fouling going on though.

 

Slater is so heavily programmed to turn back towards his own goal that I wonder if he can ever adapt.

 

Three senior centre-backs injured and little depth in midfield. Oh, and two midfielders on yellows. Think this is why we’ll struggle during parts of the season because a few injuries or suspensions leaves us massively exposed. A big knock-on effect of the fee restriction and wage cap.
