That won’t be easy, seems no one wants to leave. Can’t blame them really they’ll struggle to get the wages their on here.

Agree, not suggesting we should have been gung-ho, but should have been much more attacking, gone for the second, and not dropped so deep. We played into their hands, as their only attacking threat was free kicks and high balls into our box

We have a squad imbalance imo. For me, one of Williams, Randall, Knight or Bird needs to go, all the similar type of player and we don’t need four of them. I’d get rid of Williams as he’s always injured, but that means we probably can’t get rid of him…. We need another attacking mid option to support Twine.
Same with our forwards, at least 1 of Bell, Cornick, Armstrong or Mayulu needs to go. If we can’t get a good price for Sincs, I’d keep him, he can do a job as we saw last night. Mayulu from what little we’ve seen appears the most natural finisher, but seems bone idle. Cornick and Bell will run all day, but don’t carry goal threat at all, so for me it’s one or both of them to move on.

Clear facts if Armstrong is the answer when Riss is taken off then Fally -Bell -Cornick need moving on as neither Manning or Struber have had faith in them.
Brian Tinnion-Jon L -Steve L THE STRIKING DEPARTMENT HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST PROBLEM AT Bristol City for years.
Going to cost this football club again this season-you have a week to sort it.

All four and start a fresh. None are good enough to take city to the next level.

Carlton Morris is an absolute pain.
He LOVES scoring against us. Last night’s goal was his 6th against us - more than he’s scored against any other club.

Happy fact though (if true); according to Sky Sports last night, Scott Twine has scored more goals from direct free kicks than any other player in the football league pyramid (since 2020-21 season)

    Gerhard Struber post-match on bristolbbc

“When we lose Emil, in our striker position it’s not so easy, that we have someone behind him who’s also on his level. This is something where we have to do something”

Last decent striker we had IMHO was Fammy. Semenyo was also good but improved after leaving us. Weimann was also pretty good but played out of position most of his time with us.

We should have offered Nahki a one year deal, could have been backup for Riis. I know the point about numbers and wages, but we still have to get rid of numbers to allow others in. So why not keep Nakhi and get rid of someone else.

Not for me, Wells had lost his pace. If we had gotten rid of 2 of the strikers, then maybe, but we didn't, so another striker on the books who doesn't score much was never a good option.

I agree. Wells was a good motivator in the dressing room too by all accounts. I’m sure he would have accepted a pay cut to stay in the Championship.
