    Saturday 23rd August 12.30pm
    Premier League
    Etihad Stadium

Dragusin, Kulusevski, Gil, Solomon, Takai and Maddison are all long-term injured.
Too early for updates on Udogie or Bissouma.
    Neither side has any suspensions.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Vicario; Porro, Romero, van de Ven, Spence; Sarr, Gray, Bergvall; Kudus, Richarlison, Johnson.
Subs: Kinsky, Danso, Vuskovic, Davies, Palhinha, Bentancur, Odobert, Tel, Solanke.

City: Trafford; Lewis, Stones, Dias, Ait-Nouri; Reijnders, Gonzalez, Silva; Bobb, Haaland, Doku.
Subs: Ortega, Ake, Akanji, Khusanov, Nunes, Gundogan, O'Reilly, Cherki, Marmoush.

Ref: Peter Bankes. VAR: Andrew Madley.

    TV: TNT Sports.

How would you like to line up for this one and how do you think we actually will line up?

I know our record against them up there is strangely not to bad but can’t see us getting anything this time.

I think we’ll go similar to against PSG but as long as we don’t crumble and get a pasting then I think we can just say good to get this one out the way early with better looking fixtures coming up.

Sort of. I wouldn't count Solomon or Gil and I'm not sure about Bissouma, either.
I'd basically write Maddison off for the season, to be honest.
Kulusevski and Dragusin could be soon or months away. No idea. Mixed messages.

These training videos are normally a couple of days old, so I wouldn't look for anything new.
Interesting to see Solomon and Scarlett involved quite a lot.
Doesn't look like the former's injured and the latter could be a useful club-trained option.

I agree that we may adopt the same formation we adopted vs PSG. At this stage, I don’t care about playing style or being attacking. Not when we’re away to a good team. Let’s just try and collect points this season.

I was wrong about 3 CBs. Still, the team selection is looking good and the biggest battle will be a mental battle, especially towards the end.

    Stay strong boys!

Like the look of that team strong midfield and good pace in wide positions, would take anything we can get here a draw is a great result.

its a decent starting line up, tbf. We can compete with City with that group of players, and potentially cause them problems as we’ve done many times in the past. But the bench doesn’t provide us with much if we’re behind, and we no longer have Son to save us. I bet City are bloody delighted about that. <laugh>

A chance for some player X to front up and have Pep the false messiah call Spurs "the X team" .

With Richarlison's blonde top he will, as Gazza would say, look like a pint of Guinness. <laugh>

    Often a high scoring game

expectin City to win 3 or 4/2

Wouldn’t be surprised at all of we turn them over though

    could also be a Desmond

Lookin forward to some Kudus magic
