Injury updates Mattie Pollock is expected to rejoin team training next week after making good progress on his recovery from a hamstring problem. The popular defender has been sidelined since he picked up the issue in the first half of the friendly against Deportivo. He was taken off as a precaution and after some physio work in the medical room and some strength and conditioning exercises in the gym, he returned to the pitch this week for some one-to-work work. Another back out on the grass this week was Pierre Dwomoh. The Belgian midfielder is working his way back from a thigh problem and stepped things up with some running on the pitches at the training ground. He will progress with some drills over the weekend with a view to returning after the international break. Giorgi Chakvetadze continues to toil away in the gym on the same non-impact programme as he manages a complex foot issue. Caleb Wiley was progressively introduced to full training this week following a back issue, but he reported an issue in an adductor muscle so he was withdrawn as a precaution. Jack Grieves injured an ankle in the Under-21s' thrilling 3-3 draw with Sheffield Wednesday on Monday and will miss the game against Swansea City. Imrân Louza will begin his three-game suspension after his sending off against QPR.
