its tricky, i think west ham owners are terrible and looking at their squad, youd struggle to think anything higher than 15th is possible
It’s ironic how he took a long hiatus because he was waiting for ‘the right job’ but he’s been ****e at West Ham. People even thought he should’ve been England manager.
its pretty clear, he needs to drop down to the championship it's why i have a lot of time for lampard, he wasnt afraid nor thought he was too good to drop down again
I’m not happy watching it. It’s boring, tepid, slow build-up football. Nobody is making any runs and they’re just passing it to feet instead of space. On top of that, they’re ****e defensively. He’ll be gone after this.
Yep teams are turning away from the boring ****e aren’t they 5 now Even corners are in the mixer now Not short back to your own keeper he’s getting sacked the team have given up on him
He overachieved with Brighton and that landed him the Chelsea job but Brighton upgraded with De Zerbi. As I’m writing, it’s 1-5 now. People made out Potter was some genius English coach but he’s overrated as ****, in my opinion. Needs to coach a Championship club and salvage his reputation.
For several years, the patient, slow build-up style with wingers recycling the ball instead of taking someone on was all the rage, especially since Man City won the treble doing it. However, even the elite teams are evolving their styles to be move the ball quicker, having direct wingers and overlapping fullbacks making a return. Man City have signed Aït-Nouri and look more direct going forward. PSG have a very fluid midfield and forward line who like to dribble at the opposition and make runs in behind. Barça aren’t tiki-taka anymore under Flick. It’s possession but not for the sake of it anymore.
football constantly changes if you have prime iniesta and xavi, you can keep possession like its a toy, so you can toy with the opposition to find that opening with or without messi but if you have championship or mid level prem players, you cant
It is eight goals conceded by West Ham so far this season - that's the most they have ever conceded in the opening two matches of a top-flight season.
