I always took some vicarious pride and pleasure out of Gareth Bale's CL exploits, hopefully Tyler can emulate him in some way.
Nope, i thought the same Unless it's an obligation or agreement to sign him at the end of his contract
Beto up top, O’Brien right back with Grealish and Dibling pulling the strings… I’m personally not sure Everton and Moyes represent the best move for him in terms of development but best of luck to the lad. The fee and structure seems decent enough, and it’s more important for us in the short term at least to keep Matty, so I’m hoping this secures that for us.
Agree with all the sentiments, good for finances & reputation if he does well. This has got me very excited to see us get stuck into our own business now though!
Maybe it's an option to buy him at a really discounted price in January to avoid other clubs jumping in during the summer when he's a free agent? Or maybe he's extending for 1yr to facilitate the loan move but I'm really not sure Saints could be arsed to deal with an extra year of ABK
More chance of me signing up for Saints as a player than them being willing to sanction an additional year of ABK
We'll end up extending his contract for a year. Then Nantes won't activate their option. Then we'll have him back again and the whole saga can drag on.
. but why would they? Surely they’d just wait for expiry & sign? Unless it’s a type of gentleman’s agreement but very strange.
