Yeah they are up there with Ipswich for favourites at this stage for me. Sheff Utd need to do a fair bit in the next couple of weeks to be in the conversation
At the end of the day, not every single result will go for us. 2 of 3 potential automatic promotion challengers losing is a good day.
Based on what? A few good signings. They've got more to prove before they can be considered favourites with us and Ipswich IMO.
Yeah it's far too early to be looking at others results anyway really. Just need to focus on what we're doing.
Momentum, settled side and signings. Their side is definitely one of the best in the division, main question mark for me is the manager as he only has 1 years experience managing a top half champ level team in League one On paper Ipswich are clear faves for me, then a group of us, Brum and Leicester fighting for the second automatic spot is how I think it plays out.
Yeah will look a lot clearer come September. There was a video I saw which was making an argument that this Ipswich side could be the greatest Championship side ever. Now Hutchinson is gone and Broadhead sounds like he’s going will be interesting to see who they bring in, always hard to really know before the window shuts. The fact they have McKenna and you look at the managers of all the other favourites and he stands out as the most experienced in the league and had success as well. Us, Leicester and Brum all have some question marks over the management
Way too early to care about other teams’ results . Only need to start worrying about those in the last 3 games or so. Until then it’s simply on us and how many points we can accumulate. 100 - Champions 90 - Automatic Promotion 70 - Playoffs 50 - Survival
I just hope Birmingham fall flat on their faces as they are getting too big for their boots. Being honest, they are the one team I would like to see relegated.
Just watched some highlights of the Preston v Leicester game and it looked as if Preston should have been 3 or 4 ahead before Leicester equalised. The cross for the Preston winner, by Thierry Small was superb.
Objectively it isn't as Norwich are far more likely to be involved in the race for the playoffs than Pompey, who have gone down the usual route of buying cheaply.
Derby Vs Bristol City tonight. Might choose that over the Prem game. Huge game tomorrow for Wrexham with Wednesday at home after starting with two defeats. Be hilarious if they lost.
With Charles injured, Wednesday have signed league 1 Cardiffs 4th choice keeper on loan until January. Wrexham really should win and I think they will.
