Talking of panel show comedians, Frankie Boyle on early Mock the week was superb , he went too far in his stand up in the end , going for shock comedy for the sake of it just calling people ****s and hope they died and stuff , but on that show he was genuinely hilarious at times - especially on the outtakes that didn’t make the cut
I agree with you it is a weird thing to put on main bbc channel , be less then 1000 people watching it . Doesn’t bother me as others have pointed out there’s plenty of other channels to watch . We have to just think these things these days though , not say them
I'd think there'd be more than 1000 watching, they sold 40-odd thousand tickets. Having said that, having it on BBC2 might have kept the whinging down.
