That’s Liam Manning and the Alarm Bells returning with their new single, “Too big and physical” from the album “Limp passing”.
He won't score from distance because his shoot is weak. I think people forget how much money Knapper has spent. Don't be happy with lucky defensive rearguards at a relegation candidate.
I didn’t say from distance I didn’t mention defensive rearguards And I’m not sure where this fiction that people have forgotten how much has been spent comes from - it’s even been discussed at length - are you fantasising? Classic carrabuh The bizarre thing is I am pretty sure I agree with the substance of your point - if I’ve understood it correctly, that Manning is a slightly odd choice for a club with our ethos and we should be playing good football, not physical hoofballl “counterattacking”. You’ve honestly no need to be defensive about your view. I think other posters are just asking you to be a bit patient and let it play out. And if your (in my view) legitimate concerns prove right in a few months you get the even greater satisfaction of saying “I told you so” (although I accept that this is less satisfying if everyone agrees with you in the first place - is that why you are trying to pick fights and invent disputes?)
Well if your close then a limp shot can go in. If your being particular to my comments then I'll respond. Its not me being defensive, its a discussion forum. You can say "wait until it plays out", but again its a discussion forum. The point is you voice an opinion. I'm adamant this manager (and Knapper) is not very good and the signs are already there. The concept is wrong. People are just happy with the points, dont pretend otherwise, most media is also happy with this robust football and reiterate that fans are buying into Manning. I am not, I think he is unfortunately stereotypically English and built an expensive team fit for mediocrity. If Sargent and Nunez didn't play we'd be worse than last season and the football akin to Millwall, Portsmouth, Derby etc.
