Looks like the Burnley ticket office are using a fax machine and a bunch of boy scouts to organise the tickets for Saturday ...

... if anyone's struggling, with downloads etc, let me know and I'll try to help.

It looks like it'll be a good idea to arrive early and be prepared for a mass seat shuffle, especially if you have kids, etc.

Anyone having issues with Burnley ticket not being received? I have ordered 2 lots of tickets, with the emails coming through, but both only have one hyperlink. Reading OTR and it seems a few are in the same boat!

We have recently been informed of some changes at Turf Moor, so if you are heading down on Saturday it might be worth giving this a read...

An update for away fans who might be visiting Burnley this season.

Away fans now have new accommodation this season – the same cricket field stand but the club have swapped home and away fans over. That will make it easier for away supporters who use Burnley Cricket Club to access their seats in the ground than it has been previously. All of the walkway down the side of the cricket ground has now been blocked for home fans access so it’s likely that the number of home fans at the cricket club will be reduced too.
Because of a new road closure in Belvedere Road (where the cricket club entrance is situated), if driving and parking at the cricket club, you will need to access it from the north side.

Burnley will make it difficult for us, but I still think we will take the 3 points.

    2-0 to the lads

think tomorrow the pressue is on Parker, he claims himself to be a PL coach, he has to get THAT first win with Burnley in the PL before the locals start to get restless.

This is the game where we find out if we’re really competitive.
Burnley will be looking for a 1-0 win.
It will be very tight and on paper we have the players to edge it.
I won’t be too disappointed with a draw.

I honestly think we were the better side in both matches last season and despite their lauded defensive record but for some poor penalties and quite frankly blatant cheating from their keeper before both that went unpunished in the first incident! Still can't believe he was booked for removing his gloves and then spending a week and a half putting them back on after the first!

A player who was confident and quite cool with penalties would have been bothered a bit by this but would probably likely smash it in! Borini for example, I'd have any of Wilson or Mayenda over him in every other situation! But I think it got to Wilson on the first and then the second it was only delayed slightly as he was booked but this still added to the pressure of missing the first!

Hopefully we finish a few chances this time! I feel 0-2 but would love us to batter them about 0-4 and really burst their bubble as imo we be the side they think.they are better than and a defeat to us early on could have a huge impact on their season HWTL!

Thing is, that ‘better side’ isn’t playing on Saturday. Neither is the team that our ‘better side’ played. Judging by what I saw on Saturday night on the telly we have a good athletic side. I’m going for a 0-2 away win.

Aye you can camp and play deep in the Championship, with a keeper playing we below his level, and that’ll get you clean sheets.

It doesn’t in the PL the ball moves too fast. Actually when Burnley played on front foot last season they were more than decent, but they’ll never do that consistently under Parker.

He was a ‘crab’ footballer, sideways and safe. I don’t get how he gets jobs. He’s done nothing impressive.

Burnley were always gonna be in the hunt.

Seriously, if we can’t have a decent expectation of beating Burnley I don’t think we can be confident for the rest of the season …

… we won’t get many better chances for three points than tomorrow.

Oh aye I think we have left them behind and they are a much worse side but they seem to think because they finished above us last season they are a better side! They were more consistent sure, but I don't think they were better even then and we should be confident in any head to head especially given how we have strengthened.

A defeat to us will make their fans think "oh ****!"
