If my rough calculations are correct, based on his PL appearances and minutes played with Brentford, he averaged about 57 mins per appearance. So he wasn’t necessarily racking up appearances being subbed on for five mins at the end of a game. That seems quite good considering I’ve never really heard much about him. He must have been a reasonable part of their team for a while?
Played the full 90 in the drubbing they gave us in January. And the other win against us earlier in the season.
Seems to be solid and dependable more than spectacular, but never injured, always gives 100%, overlaps well, has pace and a good crosser of the ball. So a very sensible signing rather than a marquee signing, but I doubt the fee was a big one. We won't need to get him up to speed either, as he's fit and knows the league, so I could even see him starting on Saturday.
