    Always capable of surprising us.

We've seen his team for a home game, let's see if he changes tack for an away games ...

... he'll probably start Roberts, wide right and throw everyone a curved ball.

Things are certainly quiet around the fringe players.

Yep been very quiet this summer on outgoings

Roberts would be a massive curve ball (def not happening but get your point)

I just love the way Regis matter of factly speaks like he KNOWS the squads good enough as it is.

We can watch and we can comment and we can have opinion, but when the main man inside the club playing wise talks with such solidity that he’s comfortable that we have a squad capable of getting what we need this season, well I’m in.

He is so ****ing relaxed when he speaks you can’t help but nod along.

    Vive le Reg!

I am hopeful of an early goal, Burnley bottle it and we go on to win comfortably.

Normally goes tits up when I really fancy us but 1-4 and confidence levels rocketing. Mayenda to score again. Not bothered who gets our others.

He's talking a fair bit of nonsense tbh,

"After one game and our first game being against a top side, we've not managed to get a result.

The positives are, for 60 minutes, we were right in this game. Now we'll keep a real level to this and keep improving.

Today, against a very, very good opponent with huge quality in their team, for 60 minutes, we went toe-to-toe."

They didn't go toe-to-toe at all imo, they were second best throughout the game and tried to grind out a 0-0 draw ...

... their crowd will be expecting them to attack us which I'd be quite happy with tbh.

Great thread as always RTB (legend). I have always kept away from two things in my life....religion and politics. However, last week prior to the West Ham game my company did a bit retail work for a nun. Very nice lady and she was really pleased with what we had done for her. Upon leaving she asked if there was anything she could do for us such as spread the name just to ask her. I said funny you said that but my 'soccer' team in England were having their first game in the top league in the world could you put a word in upstairs for me?
She said she would say a prayer...not saying this had anything to do with the result but wow....she has been in this week again and asked how my team did. She laughed after she seen my big smile and repeated thank you, thank you, thanks you :)
I have asked the same for this Saturday's game.....lol.....and yes I know what you all thinking....just give me a couple of weeks before I throw in the Champions League spot :)
    0 - 2 to the lads....Diarra and Mayenda.......HTL!!!!
