    The optics of him, an Armenian, leaving Russia to play in England, will not sit well with the Russin Government. Armenia making strong moves away from Russia towards the West and the UK being pretty much No.1 hated nation over Ukraine... please don't tell me politics will not come into this.

    Krasnodar aren't even being subtle now. Plainly another bullshit leak from them. I think this is actaully good news. They are clearly clinging on to him for dear life now.

    So the Armenian media - and his agent - is saying that he wants to leave Russia and the Russian media is saying that he rejected Saints and wants to stay in Krasnodar. Hmm...

    Indeed. Especially because Krasnodar won the Russian league this year. Doesn't look great for Russia when their league winners have to sell to a club in the English second tier.
