Good that he's fit, still think Alderete should start - the balance looked so much better with him in there Did he say anything about when Mukiele and Masuaku might be ready?
Looked like Mukiele has been training which is a good sign, but he's had no presason (neither has Masuaku) I expect to feature against Huddersfield, even off the bench then start making squads after the international break
Yeh I reckon it will be the same team that started Saturday, ideally with Alderete in for Seelt. But I have a sneaky feeling it will be an unchanged starting line up and bench.
Maybe, just really like Alderete and Seelt got caught a couple times stepping out when he didn't need too - still played well tho Just Alderete looks levels above and we need to go for our strongest team
Oh 100% I'd be starting Alderete every day of the week and twice on Sundays. He looked levels above when he came on.
It will be Xhaka (3 scored 1 missed) or Diarra (3 scored). Don't see them giving it to anyone who hasn't taken a penalty before. IMO
Great thread as always @RTB There are no easy games in the prem but believe we will have too much for Burnley. 2-0 to the lads, Diarra and Mayenda to score.
I expect to see Masuaku on the bench instead of Jones but I don't think Mukiele will be on the bench - think we will have Seelt on bench and Alderete starting
One thing seems sure, RLB isn't a sentimental manager who picks players based on anything but merit. He does have a caring side though ... ... I'm sure he brought Rigg on, the second it was 3-0, just so he could say he'd played in the PL at that age. Although I could be completely wrong and he was just saving Talbi for Burnley
Rigg was waiting to come on at 2-0, think he was coming on as Talbi had more so much effort in Be interesting what team and squad he picks
