I don't think it's 'cool' to hate on SR. I think it's perfectly valid to hate on SR at this point. But I agree that although there's plenty that they suck at and have ****ed us with. Selling our best players for less than their worth to us is not one of them.

Sheff Utd signing Ben Godfrey and Japhet Tanganga. Good signings for them and might help address their start to the season. Pretty sure they only have 1 centre back currently

Shows how quick things move. In some championship preview shows I listened to some were waxing lyrical about how Millwall kept Tanganga

 

Interesting given that 40m is still below the asking price. Why even bother when you can’t get anywhere near. I know certain clubs have an arrogance and entitlement about them but this is something else

“West Ham and Southampton are still miles apart in their valuations of the player. The club have denied reports that they have bid £40m and have said that this is far too much for him, but Southampton are said to be looking for around £50m for the player.

“It is thought that West Ham’s offer currently sits at £32m with a few clauses on top. Unless one party seriously budges, it looks like a deal will be hard to conclude. We are looking at inserting various add-ons to try and get closer to the price but there is still a long way to go.”

Said from the start Spurs will be right option for Tyler, he’ll flourish under Thomas Frank and can dip his toes straight into Champions League football. If they hit the asking price I’ll be happy to see him make that move and we can finally get signing some new attackers as we’re clearly waiting for him to move….

We know Spurs have the money at least. But will they be willing to spend most of what they were going to spend on Eze for Dibling who is not the ready made player that Eze is.
