That wasn’t very good.

Big changes in players, same old dross on the field. Slow, dull, stuff as was most of last season. Where was the pace, the flair, the drive??
Good news, Josh in CD, Gittens, Estaveo and Santos despite his miss.
Bad news. Fernandez and Palmer, just not in the game.
Understandable given our lack of pre season, but still puzzling.
Lucky to get a point, but better than none.

Yeah wasnt a great performance at all.
We will kick into gear soon though I feel.
Palace defended very well, and our guys played like they were tired.

I can't believe how Chelsea have tried to fit Square pegs into round holes.

The players might be the best players for their clubs, but in different circumstances and different tactics, look at Barcelona, lots of quality players never fit the Barcelona system, Griesman, Dembele, Douglas, etc etc.

Chelsea are missing a Kante, or Mane or an tenacious midfielder who can press and chase the ball down in midfield.

I really want Chelsea to do well, except against Sunderland.

Couldn’t agree more. A midfield player has been our top requirement since Lampard really.
Fernandez has not been able to play that role, and to me looks too slow, too easy to knock over, and not a very good scorer.
Santos will outshine him this season if given equal game time, and Lavia gets us looking far more dangerous when he’s there. Essugo might be a surprise too.
Caciedo is stand out but needs a counterpoint midfielder and Fernandez is not it.
