    Hi all,
I was wondering if there was a number of single or couples who would host a match day experience in their homes?

I was at the mother in law's last weekend and took my android box to watch the match, I've subscribed to DAZN. She loved it, the thing that struck me was when she said I've missed the company of watching Sunderland with other people. (she's afraid to go to the match alone at 79)

It's the first time she's seen the lads live since giving up her season ticket after my father in law died years ago, she can't afford Sky or the other derivates.

Can we create a match day group for the older generation to watch the games that are broadcast to help them socially and the friendship that is SAFC.

There must be people out there who are in a similar situation.

I'd buy an extra DAZN account for her, but she doesn't know how to work her own TV now, never mind an android box.

    Anyway, just a thought.

That's a brilliant idea mate, really.

I'm in the middle of nowhere, in Fife, but I'd have jumped in.

I bet @becs and a few other will have summat to say, I'll have a think about other possibilities.

It's a good idea but you would probably need to vet the hosts homes in some way.

There was a campaign a few years ago by one of the brands. I think it might have been Bisto or Oxo. The idea was to invite lonely old people around for a home cooked Sunday roast dinner. I looked into it but my home wasn't suitable as the step to get in my front door is quite high and I haven't got a downstairs toilet.

Joanne Youngson from the Branch Liaison Council might be a good person to ask. She puts a lot of work into community stuff like the Heaven branch.
