    Getting close to the part of the window where players like Rudoni and Fellows will have an added premium for fear of not replacing them and PL clubs start to act on which decent players need a loan move.

    Hope we get really stuck in. Feel like this league is there for us with a touch more quality.

    @JacobSteinberg: West Ham also made a bid for Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado yesterday. Unlikely to be successful. An approach for Chelsea’s Andrey Santos was knocked back. Good player, unrealistic target.

    This shocks me to my core.

    I expect it was something like 32m despite being told at least 50m. They have probably believed the hype of the pro-West Ham Fleet Street brigade who they’ve had working overtime recently to try and say we should accept lower valuations because we were terrible last year. As if that is relevant at all…
