Rowe likely to be on the move from Marseille after just joining. Didn’t get much game time last season and after suffering a loss in the opening game he was involved in a dressing room bust up with Adrian Rabiot - both players have now been suspended
Callum Doyle is reportedly "close" to joining Wrexham on a permanent deal rumoured to be costing £8M. Good Championship player and I hope it goes well for him.
Bit daft crossing swords with an experienced guy like Rabiot. Apparently three others, including Pierre Hojberg, also took JR to task, accusing him of not pulling his weight. OM lost in the final minutes of added time, with Rennes having played with 10 men for an hour.
Forest have apparently joined Everton in interest in Fisher. What, realistically, would his value be? Given his potential I would think around the £8m mark with substantial add ons and a hefty % sell on.
Fisher is contracted until 2028 with a one year option after that. Transfermarkt currently value him at £1.5m which looks to be out of date. He is now on his third year of Championship experience at the age of 21 which say doubles his value. He's played 8 games for the England U20s and he has now been called up to the U21s so that would add another say £2m. He still counts as under 21 so wouldn't require a squad place and he's home grown so that could add another say £2m. As you say, his potential given all of that could add at least £2m more. Finally, if there's a bidding war between Everton and Forest it could go higher still. Remember that Everton paid over £30m for Godfrey so I'd say your £8m is reasonable but it could be even more given that we don't need to sell.
Good comparison. It seems that he thought he was going to be the star man but got a bit of a shock very quickly. The real stars in the team didn't like his attitude and Rowe became disillusioned and excluded. Marseille tried to get rid of him last window without success and the bust up was the final straw. They can afford to virtually give him away and if they do I hope City stay well clear. Like Cantwell he is trouble.
I can't believe we are on here discussing Kellen Fisher's worth in the current transfer market. What we ought to be worrying about is the message any move would send about a highly talented young player's loss of trust in Norwich when it comes to his further development.
