It's probably just the club in general... Liverpool and Isak are trying to take the piss, so as a business Newcastle are saying no. They'll let him go when his valuation is met.
Jonathan Rowe has been transfer listed by Marseilles. We've been linked in the past. England u21 star.
After the frustration if the initial circus, I'm resigned to losing Isak at some point in the near future. So for now I'm just going to enjoy the rest of this show and hope that PIF really tell Liverpool where to go and put then Isak on the naughty step a tear him off a few strips.
Good player. His past will stick but he wasn’t proven guilty albeit he likely was. Bruno posting his picture minutes after Isaks statement is telling. One part I don’t like about the NUFC statement is this part. “ Alex remains part of our family and will be welcomed back when he is ready to rejoin his teammates". I don’t want him back.
Who’s advocating him? I said he was likely guilty. And I didn’t say I wanted him either. I just said he’s a good player. Which he is.
It's smart. Showing that he is still welcome proves we won't take a lower offer. We are not actively looking to offload him and have no need to. So that means Liverpool (or any other club) will need to stump with an offer that he is worth, or get lost If the club had said the opposite then it's a fire sale.
And you realise why he was transfer listed? Apparently he ended up in a fight with Rabiot. Do we want that kind of player?
Yes true I hadn’t thought of it that way. I’m just still pissed off with him. He’s disrespected everyone at the club with his actions.
Mason Greenwood? Kids a ****ing freak man. Listen to his audio tapes and tell me he should be anywhere near Newcastle United **** no.
Club basically saying to Isak with conditions of sale: 1. Put in a transfer request [he won't as he loses loyalty bonus] 2. We need suitable replacements for you and Wilson [won't happen now] 3. Valuation met [that has increased by £50 million overnight given our stance] He has ****ed himself over and it's delightful to see.
That statement from Isak (or his agent) smacks of desparation. His big money career changing move to the dippers hasn't come to fruition so he choses the night of the PFA awards to release a statement on social media. Very odd timing indeed, why not come out and say that from the very start and get in front of it to stop everybody and their aunty and their aunty's dogs jumping to a million and one conclusions.
