Thought I’d go onto the gog’s forum to wind them up but that’d have been a waste of time

Big balloon festival in brizzle this weekend.
Depending on wind direction we'd occasionally get them going over our house when we lived there.

So, on that note, Mrs Brizzle and I were due to go up in one of the balloons earlier this evening (long story but the business Mrs Brizzle works for has part ownership of one).

Sadly the windspeed was too high so the ascent was cancelled.
First time for me to miss out but third year in a row Mrs Brizzle has missed out due to weather...

    Gutted.

    Thats a shame.
It has been a bit breezy.
I've not lived there for nearly 30 years, but remember most years someone would try and take a balloon UNDER the Clifton bridge. A few fines from the CAA.
There was also a fuss when one landed inside the perimeter fence of BAe's Filton runway.

Funnily enough, just got in after meeting up with my old rugby playing mate from Bristol. His daughter lives about 4 miles from us in Cheshireland. He's back to Bradley Stoke tomorrow.

I thought Colwill's dead ball strike against Peterborough was brilliant, but I watched an even better one yesterday.

Ryan Mannings' left foot beauty equalising for Soton against the Gogs was spectacular - take a look if you can find it in the game highlights.

Brum 1-0 up against the blades.
Giving them a torid time. Should be out of sight.
