I generally accept where you are coming from. However, we are all license payers and it’s hardly the first time he has had a go or been disrespectful at us.

As a well paid bbc employee, partly funded by people from Sunderland I don’t think it’s too much to ask for some professionalism? If people want to complain good on them if people don’t no problem. All I would say is any employee at the BBC in the NE has to hide their Sunderland allegiances or be professional. The same doesn’t apply to Sherar or Logan or Thewlis and her ilk.

As an outsider looking in perhaps Sunderland people should complain more then they may not have got the ****ty stick from Newcastle as much such as the TWDC as example.

I can’t disagree with anything you’re saying to be fair mate.
Suppose the angle I come from is life is too short to get riled up about such things, but again can see that that attitude means things don’t change.

Doing some AI training at work so asked it for a poem on Sunderland's transfer business. It created this in seconds. Useless but fun.

Ah, Sunderland, with sunlight in its stride,
Upon the Premier League shores, your ambitions glide,
    A record-smashing spree, £170 million spent,
To weave a squad with purpose, football's intent

Granit Xhaka leads with seasoned grace,
A general's touch, his power keeps the pace
Habib Diarra, Diarra of strides so bold,
From Strasbourg's clutches, for £30 million, sold

Young stars now flourish in Wearside’s fold,
Diarra and Sadiki, unbridled and bold
Yet hearts must part as Bellingham departs,
To Borussia’s charm, an echo that departs

Oh Stadium of Light, witness dreams ignite,
A squad reborn—speed, youth, and might
From relegation's shadow to hope renewed,
A phoenix rises; Sunderland’s fight is true

I'm confused what Shearer is supposed to have done that was so unprofessional lol. He said way before the match that he was on "West Ham" duty. If they'd have battered us 5-0 he wouldn't have spoken about us because it wasn't his job. As it happens, we beat them, and he didn't speak about us because... it wasn't his job. Were the BBC supposed to force him to switch teams just because we won?

In an exclusive interview, Africafoot reveals Sint-Truiden's interest in Cameroonian goalkeeper Blondy Nna Noukeu, currently with AFC Sunderland.

Promoted to the English Premier League, Sunderland has been particularly active on the transfer market this summer. Competition in goal has also intensified, pushing Blondy Nna Noukeu to consider a move away in order to secure more playing time.

According to our information, Sint-Truiden is closely monitoring the 23-year-old goalkeeper's situation and is preparing an offer of around €200,000 to convince Sunderland. The Cameroonian is also attracting the attention of several Championship clubs, including Derby County and Sheffield United.

Valued at €150,000 by Transfermarkt, Blondy Nna Noukeu only played four matches last season with the Black Cats' reserve team. Trained at Royal Excel Mouscron and formerly with Stoke City, he could return to Belgium if negotiations are successful. The player is still tied to Sunderland until June 2026.

Is Santiago Giménez supporting us along with his fellow Mexicans yet? I don't mind if we lean into our new support and sign him.
