I am sorry but anyone who starts Morgan at right back and Mbengue @ left back (in the first 2 league games if you don't mind) is a disaster waiting to happen. After the Plymouth debacle, they lost again Sat, he needed to (big time) keep his powder dry. That alongside Walsh for Nardi is not helping his cause.
Maybe playing Madsen in goal is his next decision.
if we lose at Coventry i fear the natives will get restless, regardless of how early in the season it is.

I generally agree but let's not judge by a loss away to Coventry. Wait for the, what should be winnable, game at home v Charlton.

I am with you RTID but we have just had 3 'winnables'.
Plymouth and Watford have lost every game other than when they played us.
Maybe PNE are not as bad as we thought. Yes, of course it's too early, but surely now's when he would want to impress the most?
Coupled with cramp, hamstrings etc it's not been a great start, has it?

Players out of position, injuries, lack of fitness, cack performances, another first round cup exit, seeming lack of team unity.....

It's been an awful start to the season.

Players out of position (gaining wider skills), injuries (to come back and make us stronger), lack of fitness (improving week by week), cack performances (can only get better), another first round cup exit (no unusual activity there), seeming lack of team unity (captain on his way back to pull everyone together).

It’s going to get better Hoop Leif (can you see me clutching tightly to those straws)

I have been trying to think of positives. Morgan's goal is one of very few. Possibly Mbengue v PNE another.
If we don't line up in midfield with Field , Varane and Morgan against Coventry, I will scream.
if Adamson is so incapable why did we sign him?

As I said on another thread, it's not so much the results that have bothered me but more the way we self inflicted them. To have a full back of each side on the bench (two left backs with Vale) yet start with mbengue and Morgan was ridiculous and pointed more to us being bothered about the opposition over our own game. This happened all last season. Try stop the opposition, go 1 or 2 down, realise it isn't working, change it and try get back into the game, usually too late.

First half v PNE and second half v Watford are positives.

He would have played Mbengue on the left as he will have perceived him to be physically stronger against Watfords Baah. Ironically Baah didn't play but I imagine that was the thinking behind it.

Not a great start at all. I declined to get excited until I started to see wins / points. Not quite there yet!

QPR have failed to win any of our first 3 games of the season ( all competitions ) since 2014/15 under Redknapp. Also we have used 29 different players in our first 2 games having used 29 in the whole of last season.

He has now had a chance to see the whole squad in a competitive game and with 4 goals in 3 games we have far exceeded our expected goal tally.
I am super happy provided he starts the next game with a Xmas tree shape

    Nardi
A fit right back Morrison Mbengue the Brazilian kid
    Varane Morgan Vale
    Poku Dembele
    Kone

Happy to see Madsen in the club shop before the game launching the new Christmas range

Alternatively Celar and Madsen could come on the pitch at half time and play the new half time game
