The next three games are going to be interesting without Louza.

We all thought Louza slipped. I've not seen it back, so I can't really comment. Hopefully, I will be commuted to a one match ban.
That said, I thought the referee had a very good match, missing the foul before their goal aside.
Watford seemed to have a plan... give it to the quick/tricky bloke on the wing, cross it for the big bloke in the middle: Tayloresque!
In the end, we made harder work than it ought to have been and yet not as difficult as it might have been.
Entertaining fayre, first half especially, and the green shoots of a half decent side are apparent. IMHO, of course.

Pity the !PR bloke who dished out a right hook in the first half wasn't given a red, it was outrageous and deliberate I thought.

Matej didn't agree, but I thought that. Only saw it once but it was neck height wasn't it? I think that's redworthy (I just made up that word, but you catch my drift ;)).

Yes, no ref is perfect, but we (Matej and I) were impressed with his performance. I particularly liked the advantages he played, they were in the interest of the game, which is difficult and you have to be brave and bold, but I think he managed it.

Fraught as the second half was if our man Baah had been fractionally more accurate with his second half shots we would have won much more comfortably

That goal gave them a lift having been outplayed till then but we did get back into more later in half I thought.

    First half was very encouraging.

Ngakia was probably the best overall player with Keben but attackers tend to get the credit !

    Highlights

Would Louza get an extra game ban if we did appeal and the FA thought it was futile? With the international break be out for a month

I think we'd be stupid to appeal - he got what he deserved - a red card.

Now I have seen it, we'll get nowhere appealing that. Straight leg, studs up, high. No complaints from me and cements what a good game the referee had.

It was weirdly unnecessary. Why would he do that? A very good player, perhaps our best technically, but he does make some bloody funny decisions sometimes. Pretty obvious decision, I don’t know why he contested it.
