    No Italians. Most exotic relation was my aunt on my Dad's side, who was in her prime a professional ballet dancer. Not sure how that happened.

    I have an Uncle Martini on her side of the family though, who like a lot of Italians, came over after the war. We have what is claimed to be the galvanised bucket he used when he worked on post-war repairs to the Citadel. Not sure how that happened either. It's not much of a heirloom is it? Nice bit of Chippendale furniture or an early Turner would be nice but a bucket of very dubious provenance.... I don't think the story holds water. Boom boom.
