great win and deserved. played alot better than i thought Everton were always going to get some of the ball 2nd half but we still looked the more productive. still a bit of work up top to do but thats a big win to get the ball rolling. Gabby was Ace loved him.

If I'm honest I thought we were poor against a very poor Everton side, they're going to have to do something about their set up but at the moment this is our best and I still think unless we get players in we're going to really struggle against the rest on that performance.
Don't get me wrong, very happy but we're very weak in the last third.

I’d start Harrison and Nmecha, very good when they came on. A lot of energy. Will need Nmecha’s strength for the weekend.

We still have Bijal to come in plus probably Okofam and maybe even a very good striker. So should see an improvement in the final third. Have to say ball of steel for Lucas Nmecha as he had only just come on, chuffed for him. Gudmundson, Tanaka, Stach, A,padu and Bogle did well and thought Gnonto was good whilst he was on. One thing that stood out for me was hardly any mention of Rodon. How many times last season did Rodon pull off a big block, or a big header or chase someone down to save the day. He was protected today, it was good at the back mostly

If he hadn’t leant into the ball an argument but I thought it was a definite penalty I don’t really understand anyone seeing it the other way
100% it was a definite penalty. The ball travelled a fair way and he had time to sort himself out to stop it hitting his arm. He leaned into it and the shot was on target.

Thank you, thought I was going mad. Handball is supposed to be deliberate and if you lean towards the ball then that is a deliberate action regardless whether your arm is by your side. He even pointed out to the ref that it ****ing hit his arm as part of his “defence”.
