Seems all is not well at Leicester. After the match, Ghanaian winger Fatawu had a message for those fans who were unhappy with their team's performance, and especially those who left Deepdale before the final whistle. Posting to Instagram the day after the loss, Fatawu expressed his disappointment at fans leaving the game early, saying: "So disappointed about the game yesterday. But as we says and believe that FOXES never quit then is too early at this stage of the season seeing fans leave stadium so early when we are down by 1. "This is the best time we need you, You can’t be celebrating win with the team and don’t want to loose with the team. This is a game of football and you can’t be winning every time so we need everyone in both side so you can be proud to celebrate victories with the team, this is the time to stick together to be strong to make this team get what they deserve thanks to all the traveling fans for you amazing support but we need more."
Don't think I've ever left a game early, must admit it use to be tempting in the middle of winter when you know the boozer is just down the road. I get it if the match is midweek and you got work in the morning, especially with the amount of additional time played now, and people needing their transport links. ****ed travelling all the way to Deepdale only to leave early though, I'd rather not have bothered going at all if that was the case. I can see why the player gets pissed off, trouble is fans want more for their money these day, and considering the price of match tickets, the days of through thick and thin have long gone.
I’ve never left early, home or away. Sadly, we have had a problem for quite a few years now of the ground starting to empty from the 80th minute onwards at our home games. Away support is great. I don’t get it, you pay a lot of money these days, so why would you leave early when the games close. Never known away fans anywhere to start walking out early when they’re only one goal down.
Reminds me of when Utd fans were giving Onana **** and he went on camera saying he doesn't give a **** what they think
On leaving early. Always makes think of those few fools that left instanbul at half time. Missed the greatest comeback ever. Dickheads
Watching the match, we seemed pretty loud. I could regularly hear our chants over the Villa fans They have changed the away ticket allocations this year to **** the loyalty points off though, so you will be getting a different / mixed crew from usual.
Will enjoy my 3rd hate watch of the season this evening and it's not even game week 2 please log in to view this image
For years and years I was one of those people who never left early and had really strong views on it. All changed a few years ago at a game where VAR pissed me off and I realised I wouldn't celebrate even if we scored so decided there was no point staying. Now i do it if I've had my fun out of a game. See no reason to stick with something if not enjoying it and could be doing something better, especially aways where I know I'm picking my son up when I get home. Did it about 5/6 times last season alone For me it's mainly based on the crowd rather than the actual match. Will stick around if we're 3/4 down but the crowd is a good crack still. Would never leave when game's in the balance though, find that completely mental. There were a few leaving the Wrexham game last week, would love to know how they felt afterwards lol.
