We have to expect a striker in before before Liverpool. Wissa must be a certainty in the next couple of the days so he can quickly integrate with the squad.
Not for that money he’s not. I’m not really interested in Wissa, he’s another Ramsdale/Barnes signing. He’s ok, I guess, for the squad but utterly uninteresting (more or less as usual). Notice someone has been on the Andy Howe PR trail, bigging up his involvement in Jacob Ramsey because Villa were “so difficult”. I mean, **** off were they. Villa have to sell for PSR, Ramsey is replacing Longstaff so hardly a ****ing world beater. And we’ve overpaid, like we did for Elanga. I detest these little snippets as they clearly show the club recognises fans ire at Howes so far piss poor performance that’s been **** for two and a bit years. I hope it’s not some ****ing nepo bullshit. If Andy Howe rocks up with a top class striker then I’ll back down but for now the guy remains a huge ****ing problem for this club, in my opinion.

Hojlund and Wissa in, Isak gone for something between 110-150M and that would be a solid window. Isak is a great player but too much invested in one man is always a risk. I'd rather a strong squad than one superstar.
Genuinely who ****ing cares? It’s Wissa. From Brentford. Who’s not available for about 6 weeks of this season. It’s a meh/mid signing at best. Boring as ****, serviceable at best.
Wissa scored more goals from open play than Isak. And that’s with Mbueno scoring a tonne. Wissa is a solid good premiership striker. He’s experienced and ready. Knows the league. I don’t know why you are not happy with this signing. Hes a goalscorer.
But he is a great signing if we can pull it off. A striker who in the last two seasons in a good team scored lots of goals all from open play. It’s an absolute perfect signing for me. We need to be realistic don’t we. £40m for a striker is a bargain aswell. If he scores 15 goals in each of his potential 4 seasons it’s a bargain. We can’t expect Isak levels of replacement. The bastard. (Isak that is).
Rolys a good lad but he needs to accept the situation. We are doing very well with recruitment now and if we get Wissa that’s 5 solid improvements on what we had. That’s amazing progress. And we can still get an Isak replacement/
Moise Keane was at **** club called Everton so might be worth a punt imo.. Good players struggle in **** clubs and sides. He's good some very good attributes.
If anything it merely highlights this is the new way agents are going to get their money. Players don't care about the fans or the clubs they play for..only until a bigger move is available. I don't know what fans want? Do they really honestly believe players owe them anything? They owe fans nothing other than performances. It gives Newcastle leverage to stand firm on Isak. The situation is bigger than Isak and Newcastle... Can't allow this to become the norm.. Needs stamping out at source.
