Spent last season on loan at St Pauli in the Bundesliga, 6 goals in 25 games. Looks like they played a 3-4-2-1 and he was one of the two behind the striker.
A £2-£3 million option to replace Dibling I guess? Big lad though so fits the more physical, Athletic presence the club are supposed to be aiming towards.

It seems Lens sold him to St Pauli for 3m a year ago, but then exercised a buy-back for 4.5m this summer and are now aiming to flip him on for an increased profit, Saints one of a few clubs interested in him
It all seems so needlessly dramatic . mot feels obvious to me that Isak will move AFTER Newcastle face Liverpool this coming weekend. Once that’s happened Newcastle get Wissa and Brentford look to replace.
Richie I would be worried if I was a Brentford fan. It does remind me of Saints and Poch or even back when Wimbledon got relegated from the Prem. Just wondering how quickly they go for a new manager. I imagine that they up sacking their coach by beginning of October. The bottom 6 clubs will all be very close in the Prem this season.
An interesting listen. Albeit one I had in the background so I can’t remember his conclusion. I believe it was thinking the answer might be that they might be ok as they have some interesting options already in the positions they are losing players in such as Thiago, Carvalho, Damsgaard and Lewis-Potter But to us Saints fans it really does look a lot like what happened with us when we rolled the dice on selling high and replacing with lower price players one too many times
Ipswich in for Danish striker, Boving, who was earlier linked to Southampton. Reported fee around £3 million which looks a bargain.
