People expect too much. What was he supposed to do in ten minutes? Matsuki had twice that amount of time and yet I don’t remember him touching the ball. We were playing deep and trying to see the game out. Justifying the criticism he has been given by saying ‘he’s a footballer, so what?’, is a bit daft. He’s a teenage boy ffs.
What criticism? He got a thunderous round of one of our own when he came on. Are you just inventing things to moan about? Questioning whether he is committed and up for playing for us is literally the purpose of this board, and if he is reading it… wow!

That is not true. You replied to a comment another poster made about people on this board saying he looked disinterested TODAY and got quite annoyed anyone would say that. So either you don’t know what you are replying to or you are just shifting the comment.
All I wrote was, ‘it’s total bollocks’. I was referring to the criticism he gets in general, not from today’s game, because I haven’t read through this thread. Was at the game and then in the pub for several hours after.
We shall see if it is bollocks as the window progresses. If he doesn’t want to be here we will soon see it and… maybe even discuss it!
Not sure we're being relaxed about it. We're trying for the German kiddy, and I'm pretty sure there'll be a bunch of other enquiries out that we don't know about. Thankfully.
Haha it’s kind of a catch-22 now though. If he goes, you can say, ‘see I told you so’, but obviously I’ll reply with, ‘we can’t expect him to stay after slagging him off for nearly a year.’
One thing I quite like about us this season is that it appears we'll be hard to beat. Even when we lose games I don't think we'll make it easy for anyone like we did last time in the championship at times. Very good asset to have. Just a case of whether we get enough wins for autos or have too many draws.
