In fairness, he said the last bus back to civilisation is ten past nine. :emoticon-0138-think

Thank you for pulling me up but I was promoting the delights of Hornsea over the likes of Lisbon, Porto, Vietnam and Raffles in Singapore ( we've all been there, obviously) as a destination. The irony may have avoided you.

I got the 'trots' in Lisbon and had to dive into a back street bar pronto, it was narrower than Sandringham and half the length. I just made it to the toilet, but the cubicle 'door' wouldn't have been out of place in the entrance to a wild west saloon, cue noisy explosive evacuation and an eventual no eye contact exit. :emoticon-0138-think

At least when a similar thing happened to me in Pearson's on Prinny Ave,I had the good grace and dignity to run in,dump my overnight bag on the bar, order a pint...Then empty my bowel:emoticon-0103-cool:

If I'd ordered a pint I'd have dumped something else. :emoticon-0138-think

They've just had their Singapore Slings at Raffles and enjoyed them very much, they made a virgin version for the young man.

It's pissing it down, so they're glad they had something indoors planned for today, it was bright sunshine yesterday and they spent the day at Universal Studios.

He's now left Raffles and is at an indoor karting track, that boy's spoiled rotten.

Tonight after dinner, they went to the Gardens By The Bay, which is a massive urban park during the day and an amazing light and sound show on a night…

Off to Cyprus on Friday. We're staying in Tata near Paphos. Anyone been round there? Anyone any suggestions of 'must do' things?

Went last year, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia. Singapore was a fantastic clean place to visit, went to universal studios whilst we were there and the gardens by the bay is fantastic.
