If they’re going to do that, then the player may as well stay down & get the physio on. Doesn’t even make any sense when they went off for no reason, neither stayed down, we weren’t looking to waste time, we were looking for the winner!
Seems like a well meaning rule that's been poorly thought out/implemented. I don't get when the ref decides when player can come back on. Didn't seem to be the next stoppage. Just when the ref feels like it.

Think it's a sensible rule....let's be honest when Hughes went down holding his head with 2 mins left that was old school time wasting/distributing the opposition and what they're trying to stop....the Drameh one tho ...not even sure it bit his head and he got straight back up so seemed rather over officious edit....time wise it's supposed to be 30s after play has restarted
