Ref just give spurs a corner cos thr burnely keeper held the ball.

Richarilson jostled him on the way out but he held it for about 15 seconds I'd say before the ref blew up.

He just absolutely paid no attention as a keeper to kicking it away

Ricarilson just pulls back out of the cbs and the ball in reaches him for easy goal.

Poor clearance down line is instantly returned and nobody getting close.

Burnely down already. Their defensive record was the only hope for them and that was ****e.

Spurs played Burnley. Frankly this was the perfect game for anyone to start with, Burnley are ****. They will continue the trend of appalling teams to be promoted and relegated. Won't score enough, barely scored enough last season but their solid defence of last season will get hammered this.

Spurs, good for now, but they've started well a few seasons and always fallen apart. The yard dog will get injured as will half their squad as they've bought loads of injury prone players over the last few seasons, expect they'll do better than last season, but that isn't saying much.

I haven't been watching any football today, I only watch us now but I was reading some comments about the Spurs game and someone said - unless I'm mistaken, the Spurs fans are singing Champions of Europe. <laugh>

    Well, let them.

We were signing champions as well.

My view of this is old school. You sing that in the season you win and then go what's next.

The we won it 5 times stuff always smacked of inferiority complex as cheslea were sweeping all before them on new money. You have to get off that top of the pile stuff and focus on winning.

It took us a long time to get over utd winning 18 and 19.

The one thing klopp did was really break that and give belief back to a club that was.down in the dumps.

Frankly howe has become a hero for newcastle by winning a league cup and I heard spurs fans demand fat ange stay after winning the europa.

Fans will always defend what they see as their own even if they are not perfect.

Levy did the right thing as ange couldn't organise a welk stand.

Relegation I think this year. I mean one of the promoted teams is eventually going to stay up, so that means one of the others has to go. I expect it to be Wolves. No Cunha to save them this year

Personally I think West Ham may be relegated unless they get rid of Potter early enough. Their team doesn't seem suited to his style of play at all.

Yes, right now alarm bells should be ringing around Upton park way (not the stolen stadium theres no fans there)

Losing to Sunderland by that much is a shocker of an opening day.

Wolves are never going to do much against city so who knows where they really are.

Wolves did ok under Perreira last season and a lot of that was without Cunha, so maybe it was just an offday. Whereas West Ham never got going under Potter and obviously haven't had a great start here.

They have also lost both air-nouri and Semedo in big wing back roles - the former probably being their 2nd or 3rd best player.

City gave Wolves a lot of scoring chances which Wolves messed up. Going forward, and with the ball, City looked very good. If we were to play City now the score would be 11-11

ManU's defence and midfield are still crap and Arsenal are still playing with 4 CBs so have no creativity from the back.
