Okafor’s a great player. Right footed lefty. If it’s true (which it probably isn’t) it would indicate they’re not expected a quick or injury free return for Mundle.

Utter mental defensive depth if true. Ballard, Mukiele, Alderete and Lucumi is good enough for a Champions league team on the continent. Shows how stacked the prem is

Yep, it's the kind of depth we will need

Most newly promoted sides have zero depth, don't think that'll be an issue for us

Numbers really are the thing mind. Once we get some of the lads who won't play a decent move, we should have a squad with a chance. But, as almost everyone is new to the PL , yesterday was huge for their belief.

I think Mukiele is RB competition rather than CB. Like Reinildo on other side, great that they could fill in because we’ve needed that the last few seasons where we’ve seen 7/8 players start at CB because of injuries . Ballard and Alderete are the only two that look defensively good enough and are fit at centre half. O’Nien’s will be around but I think Seelt, Alese and Hjelde would all be available to loan. I think we probably sign one more CB.

Feel like yesterday alone could tip players like Lucumi to 0ver the line and convince them to sign.

That atmosphere, that energy, broadcast to every game art of the world.

One of the lads yesterday said ‘we aren’t a newly promoted team, we a PL team we’ve just been away a while’.

    I liked that.
