All he needs is a half chance, such a clean finisher. Gwaaarn, Brenaldo.

Romero hasn't improved at all. Very disappointing performance tbh.

You watch Palinha play in the pivot for 5 minutes even, and it’s so obvious he’s a natural there when most of the other options aren’t. The positions he takes up, his movement and use of the ball. Night and day to Archie Gray. The latter will learn, hopefully.

Always good to start the season with a win and a clean sheet - and there were some real highlights. Richy will get the plaudits but Kudus shone for me.
Romero was a concern and I still fail to be convinced by Vicario.
Burnley are a decent outfit and if they settle in to the PL they may survive, however unlikely that seems right now.

Strong opening day and I’ll never complain about a 3-0 to get things kicked off. We looked a little sloppy at times and the on the ball stuff was a bit clunky but obviously worked, with some wonderful individual moments too. I doubt that’s our first choice midfield that started the game which probably had an impact.

The patterns were there. We were very dominant in the right side for creating chances and I wonder how deliberate that was from Frank, both in terms of the players he had fresh to start, and in knowing that Walker remains a strong defender so better to have Johnson running at the back post in his blind spot instead of constantly trying to beat him 1v1 in the buildup.

With more creative players to come back to fitness (and hopefully in the market too) it’s a promising start. Need to tidy up some of the deeper passing and decision making from the CBs in particular but it’s early days.

Great start to the season. 3 great goals ( especially the 2nd ) and a clean sheet .

Great start for Spurs but then a tepid first half, slow passes and stupid fouls but that was so much better in the 2nd half.

In transition we were very good at times epitomised by the 3rd goal. Richarlison was outstanding 2 fantasy finishes to go with his usual high work rate.

Kudus was special, the way he holds the ball up shields it and gets away from his man is going to be such an asset for us this season. He is direct has flair and brilliant work rate.

I wanted Johnson hooked at HT but he does what he does probably the best finisher at the club but still frustrates the hell out of you.

Bergvall was lively all game, Gray better in the 2nd half and Sarr was excellent again , think he’s going to be a Frank favourite and will be a mainstay of the team.

Couple of negatives though Romero was iffy and Vicario scares me when he has the ball.

We’re constantly hearing the Eze and Savinho deals are close , Levy has got to get these two done . If he gets these for the Excellent Thomas Frank I can see us doing big bits this season .
