If this transfer happens, I feel he will need to be given time to settle in as will be a big cultural change for a player who has spent his whole career playing in Russia. From memory the last Russian ish players to do well in England were Kanchelskis and possibly Arshavin. Most others from that part of the world, have pretty much struggled.
Agree historically but I think player care is a million percent better these days so really don’t think much of an issue.
