I've no doubt this lad is a great player ... ... but that was a challenge O'Nien would be slaughtered for and Patterson ridiculed. Plus, it was an open goal that Mayenda would be hammered for if he'd missed.
I enjoy watching all of the Liverpool midfielders, but Wirtz is something else entirely. He'll be player of the year this season. Wonderful footballer.

Liverpool look so good going forward but defensively they can definitely be got at. Bournemouth will be good again this season, need some depth though their bench isn't great.
Bournemouth's press is so good, almost caught Liverpool out a couple of times with it. Been an enjoyable game so far, such a great tempo to it - shows why it was so important to get mobile players in

Jerked could easily be sent off here!! 2 very poor challengers and the ref didn’t even punish the first one!! one of the things said, was that pushes and pulls are going to be punished much more harshly. Completely proved a point I make int hat Karkez dragged Semenyo and got nothing given, and Van Dyck shoved the Bournemouth striker, but nothing given!! So basically, it’ll be punished when it suits and not against the big teams!!
Ekiteke looks the real deal like. Thought with wanting isak he might shift him to the left but the lad looks a proper number 9
If they get that defence defensively sound, these are going to be so difficult to beat over a season. And that’s without isak.
