Just our potential new defender scoring against Inter Milan in the last minute in the champions league. Xhaka playing as well. Skip to 4.23 for the goal.

We were close to a deal a few weeks ago but Lyon added an extra €12 million on the price overnight when they didn't get relegated. Apparently he was open to the move but was expecting other offers to consider.

After the money we’ve spent I can’t see them taking a chance on any gaps after that. RW and forward and possible CB and we’ve given ourselves a chance

    Leeds have signed DLC.

On a side note, Farke sounds like a 1970's Porn Actor

Their fans will be worried if they don’t pull off a few impressive late deals. The new owners spoke about ambition but their window has been a far cry from that. Our best Xl has totally leapfrogged theirs imo, they’re adding players who are squad players and of course it’s a squad game but they need improvements on the starting Xl not players who are only about as good as what they already have.

Everyone was talking about our defence being the weak point and we’ve signed Alderete who’s probably better than any CB they have and now Mukiele. I really don’t rate Rodon as anything more than a championship CB and Bijol is massively overrated by their fans.

Our priority is putting ourselves in a position to make sure we finish above those two and then hope a few clubs get dragged into the scrap. We’ve done that now and if we add a few more we are looking in great shape. I’ve just had a look at Burnley’s Xl for their last friendly and they are ****ED.

I'm blown away by our business this summer and extremely pleased with it. i'm so grateful to those who run the club.

That said I am still concerned we won't have enough goals in us. I'd really like another winger and if I'm super greedy another striker and centre back.

Leeds and Burnley fans still leaning in ‘we finished x points ahead of you’ is mental.

We clearly already had players who’d get into both their 11 and we have added so much.

If we list all 3 expected first 11 now I’d choose ours all day and night. Leeds well ahead of Burnley.

Then it’s looking at Wolves and Brentford and thinking ‘where are we v them’.

Id have us insanely close to both. And all it takes is one or 2 of the ‘maybe’ players like Talbi or Sadiki to take to the league and we are ahead.

    Back 5 feel PL.
    CM is absolutely PL.
Wingers, ability is there but we need to see if they ‘ready now’
Up front is a bit of a Hail Mary.

We are certainly close. The uncertainty remains ‘how good are we?’

Could be anywhere from 17th - 10th really. I wager at least a couple of these young lads blows us away once settled.

I’m calling Diarra takes to the league like a duck to water, with Talbi and Sadiki finding feet early in season.

I think we'll have an even spread of goals across the team ...

... our dead ball specialist with bring us 10 this season imo.

They were scrapping for every point ...

... we were sitting back and having a rest for the playoffs.

Stats mean f*ck all in some situations.

Burnley essentially have the same team.

    Us and Leeds don’t.

Agree, I said to another mate that ignore the 20+ point gap as we switched off for 5 games. It was closer than that. I'd say we are about level with Leeds with Burnley behind.
