Your probably right mate. Could be worth a punt in the last 10 mins but Farke usually integrates and beds in for a long time Hes not shy at throwing 4 forwards on when we need it though so you never know!
James Justin incoming. Can cover both flanks. Not been great at Leicester as of late but a sensible signing meaning we can move Schmitt on and not have to rely on Byram as cover. Smart bit of business, now let's sort the forward line
Yes but was he cheap like the business plan?. You are missing the point of this whole 49ers investment group plan. We survive in the prem and they flip us along with the ground extensions passed. Or they issue a lot more shares and rake off new investors. These lot care nothing about leeds utd it's all about money and egos.
I dont miss the point of an investment group. I just understand investment now means a bigger profit down the line.
James Justin as 3rd choice wing back after Bogle & Gudmundsson is absolutely fine on our first year back. Should be fairly cheap and can do a job. Got to be better than Schmidt.
Both Leicester players the media apparently think we are after both playing today. so I doubt nothing concrete is in the mix or is well along the road of tieing up.
of course i want us both to stop up great supporters and banter after the WHU result i reckon we will and Burnley to play next week ! we should have won there last season 2 pens missed in the last minute we will do it next week, they have not spent much
So first game tomorrow and the 49ers are still being astute with the money. Honestly not paying 30/40 million for a striker is the right way to go. They have time yet to bring players in so no rush for me. As for the players we were trying to sell i doubt greenwood/gyabi/gelhardt are worth buying. Would you fork out 3 million for each of them?. Let's be realistic they worth nothing and need cutting from the wage bill. Meslier we will not make a loss on and Ramazani we can keep and see how he goes. Wober was a useless signing from the beginning and knew he could use Leeds to earn lots of money.
Here we are, start of the season for us and we have in order of expenditure: Anton Stach £20m Jaka Bijol £18m Lucas Perri £18m Sean Longstaff £13.8m Gabriel Gudmundsson £11.6m Sebastiaan Bornauw £6m Dominic Calvert-Lewin - Free Lukas Nmecha - Free The cheapest three no doubt have some added value as they were end of/nearing contract expiries but we’re a long way short of the expenditure we were expecting. I know the window hasn’t closed but it does feel like we have hit a brick wall We’re obviously going with Harrison, nobody wants him, I’m sure we all expected a left sided attacker and a new 10 by now. It looks like we’re starting with Schmidt at RB due to lack of cover. Deadline Day is 1st September at 7pm - under 2 weeks left and we don’t seem to have much genuine interest left in any of our previously linked players. So far a shrewd but poor window. How poor, I expect to see just three of those new signings in the starting 11 - We’ve increased depth but added only three first names down on the sheet and one of those is down to the fact he is the only LB we have
Without looking, I am guessing a chunk of that money was obligation to purchase which means those players were already at the club last season so it’s not really strengthened, can see both sides of the coin
Aye. If us or you’s had spent £100million on what they have we’d be mortified. Fortunately we both owned our players so hadn’t spunked our future spending power on keeping together a side that’s nowhere near PL standard. They will go better than Saints and Leicester did though, which is vital for us and you. Good luck tonight, we’ve got to see Everton and the like drop points, fancy you nick it. Let’s both of us **** on this ‘gap is unassailable’ lazy ass opinion ****e. Forest just missed CL, don’t tell me Sunderland and Leeds can’t survive.
