My dentist has a dedicated root canal person, a lady in her 60's. I'd hate to have one done by someone inexperienced...
Returning after living away I needed to register with a dentist, two flatly refused new patients one offered to put me on their waiting list, current time to actually get onto the patient list six years.
Just watching the news and they're talking about the amount of games the players for top PL teams "have to play" following the World Club Cup, and the fact that the World Cup is next summer. Or the money grabbing clubs could've say no to the Club Cup?
Or the Clubs could stop organising post and pre seasons tours all over the world and miss out on the lucrative sponsor money they earn from them.
Just got home from watching a young girls football match, under 11's. East Riding representative team away at a well known local Hull club. Apparently the offside rule applies at this level for the first time this season. So, young lad referee, guess? 14? no official linesmen. The 'home' team supporters and coaches down one touchline shouting 'offside' every time the ER team crossed the half way line, every time the free kick is given, no question even when the players were clearly onside, didn't matter, 'OFFSIDE' was the shout. One goal was disallowed because of it. Of course the very young ref blew for 'offside' every time. Not one decision given the other way. Not one offside, because no-one was shouting 'OFFSIDE' every time the ball crossed the half way line, even when players clearly were and by some margin. The offside count was something like 10 to none in favour of the home side. The ER side still won 3-0. The people doing this and cheating these young girls should obviously give their heads a shake, and this was only a friendly game and they call themselves 'coaches'. They shouldn't be anywhere near a football pitch.
I coach a decent level u11s boys team and we had a 14 year old lad 2 weeks ago as his last of 5 games he needed to do to complete his course. He was excellent and given the age I am guessing it could well be the same lad. We've always been very supportive of refs and fair if we have to ref it ourselves but there are some real nobs in this area, both parents and coaches, who forget they are at a little kids football match with nothing riding on it other than the happiness of 20 odd little lads. There should be far more stringent checks and qualifications in place before people are allowed to coach and if you cannot control your parents behaviour you should lose your badges. If any of mine ever piped up at a ref or players they would be gone.
I remember when Rodri said players were close to going on strike because of the schedule. The same Rodri who earns over £11 million-a-year. The same Rodri who Man City have offered a new contract to which will make him the highest-paid midfielder in the world. The same Rodri whose coach played him at the Club World Club after an ACL injury. Has he blamed Guardiola for playing him almost every game for last five games because he intentionally wants a smaller squad?
