Slot has now come out and said he doesn't think there was intent behind the noises made by Palarse fans during the minute's silence... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c93ddqwvx33o I'm not buying it. You have to be an absolute moron, or absolutely bladdered, to be unaware of a minute's silence being observed. Even if you've arrived late and just walked up the stairs into the stand. Not good enough from those supporters. They ought to be ashamed.
I imagine that most clubs have a minute's applause instead of silence largely because of this type of behaviour. It only takes a couple of attention-seeking idiots to disrupt the solemnity.
Palarse have lost their appeal Can't say they ever appealed to me. Their appeal against relegation to the Europa Conference League that is. Tough titty say I. Their owner could have sorted this so I understand, and he chose not to. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c1kzzpp04kgo They'll have a better chance of winning it though. An under 12's team with only seven players could win the Europa Conference.
Tom Brady questions Shrek's work ethic https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c7078219pjxo To be fair to the Green fella he is right. Brady knows little about English Football. But something wasn't right Wayne - aside from your designer weave
This is quite funny. At no point does Wazza admit that he was hopeless at Brum and pretty much got them relegated. And Plymouth. There's a pattern emerging...
Sad to hear the Liverpool v Bournemouth game was stopped for several minutes because Antoine Semenyo reported he was being racially abused by some fans. For pity's sake, this is 2025, not 1970. Football, like so many other sports, provides a perfect example of playing skill having nothing to do with the colour of your skin, and virtually all fans love the skills of their team's players and take them to heart regardless of that person's colour or creed. How moronic and small-minded of a stupid minority, that they nonetheless spout hatred at opposing players based on their race or culture.
