I just wonder if this transfer restriction has also something to do with it. Maybe selling him and getting 3.5m into the pot, tips the scales in getting it either removed or reduced.
As I said before and you have difficulty accepting he has been Director of Football and held any real influence for only this window. And Puerta and Zambrano were signed before he was even at the club. He initially came in to replace Darnborough, and head of recruitment does the mundane stuff like organising the scouting and dealing with lower level contracts. Key signing decisions are taken at a higher level. Which at the time was Acun, Tan, Beri and Merthan and Acun's 3 personal scouts (Aka "the brain team") with input (sometimes) from the head coach. Puerta and Zambrano were brain team signings. Not the brain-child of a mid ranking Stoke exec who wasn't even at the ****ing club at the time they ****ing signed. When are the school hols over again?
I homely think Kamara would make a better striker option than Kyle Joseph but as a winger, he’s not going to be posting great stats any time soon in the Championship. if we can get our money back on him then I’d say it’s time to cash out.
You're lucky it looks like you never actually took the wager, but it was in a discussion of him having no end product.
You sure about that? You can read through that convo to see how you clarified how its "not that difficult"..
So just to be clear, I never actually said what you claimed about him not scoring more than 10 goals in a season (outside of league 1).
The discussion was about you not thinking he could score in the Championship. Yes you didn't put a number on it. How many goals does he need this season to demonstrate he can score in the championship? How many more direct fk goals (incidentally no one in world football has more than him since his debut).
Reports that Frigan is going to Parma. Shame that and a big disappointment that Kamara is going. But I would rather balance the books than see the the club go down the pan. The evidence is saying to me that the appeal has failed. At least as far as this season goes
Lundstram is on loan. McBurnie is on the wage of a proven operator at this level Also McBurnie has said about how Dublin made him feel wanted compared to other clubs so much so that he turned down higher wages elsewhere
To be honest Syd and without making it a days debate, I posted a few weeks ago what I heard from a good source we paid over £4m or jospeh. I have no reason to not believe this person as they’d know better than 99% of the people on here
If so that would be absolutely mind blowing. Had an average League One record and that's surely one of the highest fees a League One player has gone for?
