I cannot name one player so far who hasn't been excellent. That in itself is unusual, even in the best teams. It might still go Pete Tong tonight, but I have definitely seen some of those green shoots I was looking for.
There's a long way to go, but having watched that 45mins it beggars belief that some were calling for Ange to stay on. Load of absolute pish. Frank is already exposing him for the fraud he is. Do the simple things well, don't ignore them out of arrogance and some misplaced sense of destiny, and the rest will follow.
Good thing is that Spurs have not been run into the ground in the 1st half. PSG will surely up the tempo but there should be mileage in the legs.
Watching that 1st half, you’d think we were the CL winners! Great team performance so far. but in typical spursy fashion, I’m sure we’ll see our true colours in the 2nd half
My worry is we have poked the hornets nest and they will score early this second half and then just blow us away. And all the optimism will be extinguished. That's my typical Spurs fan way of thinking.
