As bad as Arma can be, we also know that he can be very good at this level. Downs on the other hand hasn't, and he needs to earn his right to a starting place. That's how I see it.

But as long as Stewart plays, I'm happy.

    Armstrong - Stewart - Fraser/J-Rob

I get my RBs and LBs mixed up
It’s probably because they start on the wrong side for me, now we always start kicking towards the Chapel

It’ll have to be Fraser then
He’s injured, but Is Bree right or left?

I agree, worrying last night though
And now I’m forgetting which Downes has an e o_O

It’s a slow start to the season for me too

3rd successive season I've gone to Ipswich. Cracking little away day. One win and one loss in previous 2 so going for a draw here which would be a decent result.

Hopefully better atmosphere than last night which was rubbish.

Good time to get Ipswich away with their current struggles I feel! If we can sneak a win here could be a big result later down the line as their squad is immense & they’re defo my favourites for autos

Think it's a bit of a reach to say they are stuggling. They got a draw away to one of the best teams in the league. I'll be very happy if we get a point at Birmingham.

And they played mostly their second string in the cup last night. They'll be a different beast at Portman Road. A draw would be a fantastic result for us. Expecting a loss though.

Yeah away at a promoted side is always hard, let alone one like Birmingham. Three hardest games this season will be Ipswich away, Leicester away and Birmingham away. Would take 3 points from those games

I’d like to see a bit of round pegs and round holes in the forward positions.

    Bazunu
    Edwards Stephens Quansah
    Sugawara Downes Charles Welington
    Fernandes
    Downes Archer

Bit of height and pace up top, keep it varied

Manning has to start for me.

    Bazunu,
    Sugawara, THB, Stephens, Manning,
    Downes, Charles,
    Armstrong, Fernandes, Robinson
    Archer

Why would you drop Robinson? He was our best forward player against Wrexham and has probably been the best all of pre season too.

Likewise, but I'd like the round holes to include proper wide players in the final third, so I'd go with...

    Bazunu

    Edwards
    Stephens
    Quarshie
    Manning

    Charles
    Downes

    Fraser
    Fernandes
    Robinson

    Downs

This but with Stewart instead of Downs. Or Archer if Ross still has man-flu.

Please no more small front men as lone strikers. Fair enough on Stewart/Downs. Either way I'd be swapping them round at 60 mins

Think away at Ipswich, it’s about keeping it solid and probably justifies the back three and two DMs, two strikers gives us a chance of getting up the picture quickly.
    Robinson can be super sub
